Sweetwater Sound is having their annual Gear Fest today.  I feel a little bit "geared out" when I see the mobs of people.  Sometimes too much talking is done over "gear," and there isn't much creating.  With all the new technology out there, this is expected.  From the audiophiles, to the guitarists, to the singer/songwriters, to the DJ's, to everything - the music industry is a huge beast.
